Sustainability
The times when the interests of customers, investors and the public focused solely on the financial figures of a company have long gone. The demands on companies to take responsibility for the ecological and social effects of their business models are continuously growing. Sustainability is a central factor for a forward-looking corporate strategy and is closely associated with business success as a result.
Today, ESG is no longer just part of corporate governance, but has become a decisive factor that will sustainably increase the value of your company. Issues such as adapting to climate change, scarcity of resources and human capital, as well as risk and reputation management, are not only becoming more important for companies, but are also increasingly becoming the focus of customers and investors. The term Environment, Social, Governance, abbreviated as ESG, has established itself in this context. This involves evaluating corporate social responsibility or the voluntary contribution made by business as a whole to sustainable development that goes beyond legal requirements.
In order to secure the business success of your company long term, the right sustainability strategy is decisive. Taking a look at your corporate environment is essential when working out and implementing an effective sustainability strategy. It is important to review how sustainability issues and corporate responsibility can be successfully implemented in your corporate strategy. Because even if all ESG levels generally have to be considered, criteria such as the proportion of renewable energies, compliance with environmental directives, human capital, product liability and corporate governance are weighted differently depending on the company.

Do you have any questions about sustainability reporting?
On 21 April 2021, the EU Commission submitted a draft amendment to the CSR Directive (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive). This draft directive represents a significant further development of the previous sustainability reporting.
The EU Commission’s aim is to improve and standardise the transparency of non-financial reporting throughout Europe, because it has been shown that the different facets of the issue of “sustainability” are becoming increasingly important to company stakeholders.
Our experts will be pleased to explain whether sustainability reporting will become mandatory for your company in the future or if it will remain a recommended but voluntary part of your reporting. Get in touch with us.

Companies act in an environment of ever-faster changes. You react to these changes by adapting your products, and by changing technologies and processes. However, the organisational structures beyond this frequently do not develop further as they should. This leads to increased coordination effort, unclear responsibilities, less flexibility and slower reaction times. Using a process analysis we will identify internal weak points and eliminate these by implementing and continuously developing improvements. In order to be able to act successfully on the market in the future, digitising your business processes is one essential factor for success.
We’ll help you to think in processes in the future and no longer in structural organisations. Please get in touch with us.
An effective legal and de facto regulatory framework for the management and supervision of a company will protect the management board and senior management and will also benefit all relevant stakeholders. Corporate governance stands for transparent corporate management oriented on long-term value.
We will support you to establish these management and organisational structures in your company. Whether by implementing or auditing an effective compliance management system, a risk management system or a whistle-blower system.
Corporate sustainability reporting will become increasingly important in the next few years. On the one hand, due to the new CSR Directive and on the other hand, because stakeholders (including customers, investors and lenders) will demand this information more and more. This will increasingly go beyond purely verbal communication and will require “green facts” to be quantified.
But how? We’ll be pleased to show you which key figures and performance indicators will make your company’s ecological footprint visible. In addition, we will also present how data generated in the company can be measured.
We’ll support you in creating this transparency so you can meet the necessary information requirements. Get in touch with us.
One important part of supplier management is monitoring the compliance of suppliers and service providers with ecological standards. The importance of these elements of supplier management is also made clear by the newly-introduced Supply Chain Duty of Care Act in Germany. In order to meet these requirements, you can trust our methodical approach. This starts with a comprehensive risk analysis, then implements or certifies an appropriate and effective risk management system, and up to the required documentation and reporting on the so-called duties of care.
We’ll be pleased to help you comply with legal requirements, providing you with the opportunity to proactively stand out from the competition.
